The FFA Awards Program provides students the opportunity to earn degrees and awards based on their SAE programs.  These awards encourage members to set specific and measurable goals and keep accurate records as they work toward those goals. Many of these awards also include scholarship opportunities!

Students can apply for Star Awards and Proficiency Awards. These awards require members to apply first at the chapter level and advance through the organization from district, area on to the state level award selection and degree check; individual awards are given at each level. State winners are recognized during the Texas FFA Convention held the second full week in July each year. Proficiency awards can advance from the State to National level.

Two students from Spring Branch FFA were awarded at the state level and recognized at last year’s convention! One was the State winner for a Proficiency in Veterinary Science Placement that earned a Gold rating at the National level. Another student was the State winner for Star Greenhand in Agribusiness.
